John McCain was for Privatizing Social Security, then against it, now he's for it

McCain supported privatization for many years until it became a very live issue under Bush and the significance of the senior citizen vote in Arizona got through to him. How that he is running for president as Bush with a military record, he is for it again. Except for his military background and his penchant for getting into fights with authority figures, McCain and Bush are increasingly in distinguishable. Both are rightwing Republicans. Both have a talent for putting their feet deep in their mouth, Bush was a disaster as president. McCain is a disaster waiting to happen. Norman Markowitz
