Voter fraud in Pennsylvania – scoop!

by Matt Parker

Hillary supporters were handing out the fake ballots in front of polling places all over Philadelphia.

At the polling place I was at, the guy handing them out was standing right in front of the door as people walked in to go vote. You couldn't get past him without taking one.

He gave me a hard time when I tried to take his picture, but he immediately disappeared after I turned my back on him to call.

The "ballot" itself says "official", and is obviously meant to confuse or hoodwink people into voting for hillary clinton.

I called the board of elections, but all they did was take my name and ask me to mail them pictures and the fake ballot. They weren't interested in sending a cop out to stop voter fraud. I tried to talk to someone higher up, but they said that "Bob Lee", the voter registration Administrator was already gone for the day. GONE - for the day !?!?!?!? It was 7PM, the polls were still open for another hour.

Anyone shocked or surprised about this? The fact that most aren't is a good measure of how corruption has become mainstream.

This is totally legal and legit. It's been happening for years in Pennsylvania, and all across the country. It says quite clearly that it was paid for by the local Democratic Committee, and reflects their endorsements.

I'm an Obama supporter, and I'm frustrated by his loss in PA. However, I'm going to go spouting off about something I don't understand, as you clearly have. If, instead of blogging about it, you got off your butt and actually got involved in politics by volunteering, you'd know this.

In NYS, campaigner are banned from coming within a set distance from the polling place.

Maybe they should do the same elsewhere?

Your volunteer over-engaged pedestal is to tall, we can't hear you. Please speak down at us more.

I will gladly speak down at you again, though technically it's my former campaign staff (3 city council races, 3 Congressional races, and a Presidential) pedestal.

I think political blogging is a powerful tool for good. Everybody gets to have an opinion, and that's as close to the founders' original intent as you can get.

That said, we used to laugh our asses off when someone would come into the office with some new example of voter fraud, and then be pissed off when we would explain to them that, no, it wasn't illegal, and we were doing the same things.

We stopped laughing after 2000, though, because the reason that Al Gore lost was because people had been misinformedly yelling "fraud" for years. When actual fraud occurred, people just wrote it off as more white noise.

In response to the earlier post: "This is totally legal and legit. It's been happening for years in Pennsylvania...."

haha yes thank you for pointing out that corruption and machine politics have been going on for years. Also, I was out there all day working with the Obama campaign.

What are you going to do when there is an actual crime? I mean, was this your first election or something? I get those things every single election. It's called advertising. The only possible problem is how close to the polling place it was. It seems that Obama's supposed new politics is honored more in the breach than the reality. His supports attack constantly, but get huffy when anything slightly negative is said against Obama.

Funny, Matt S., no one is demanding Hillary explain her explanation for lying about Bosnia. What did she say? Sometimes I knowingly lie when I get sleepy?

Puhleeeeze.

Now she supports nuking other countries. I'm sorry what is the difference between her and George Bush?

Wow! America is so inured to corruption it's a wonder you continue your charade of democracy at all. You are an Aristocracy, Technocracy, Oligarchy, or Theocracy depending on the state you're in but by no means are you a Republic anymore than you're a Kingdom. Good luck with the upcoming Circus/Election. OBAMA '08

It would probably sound a bit "elitist" but the fact is, anybody who is able to be confused by a "recommended endorsement" ballot, even if it labeled "Official Ballot" is probably not well-educated enough to be allowed to vote. I don't blame them, per se, as obviously the Rethuglican plan to dumb down America has worked way too well.

Man if I had approximately 40 Million dollars I could get someone who is really a PATRIOT of AMERICA voted into the PRESIDENCY for 2008. Actually it is really quite simple. First you start with a massive media campaign the last six months of this election. The only hook needed is the correct questioning to the AMERICAN PUBLIC, like AS AN AMERICAN PATRIOT AREN'T YOU TIRED OF HAVING OUR COFFERS EMPTIED OUT BY MOST PROBABLY THE MOST CORRUPT AND TREASONOUS BUSH ADMINISTRATIONS (2)THIS GREAT COUNTRY HAS BEEN WITNESS TO. Also while they (both Bush Administrations)are ROBBING THE AMERICAN TAXPAYERS AREN'T THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TIRED OF THE SHEER INCOMPOTENCE AND COWARDESS OF THE DEMOCRATS CONTROLLING CONGRESS?
yOU KNOW SUCH AS NANCY PELOSI TAKING IMPEACHMENT OFF OF THE TABLE THE VERY DAY SHE WS SWORN IN AS SPEAKER, THE PROBLEM BEING THAT WHEN SOMEONE TAKES SOMETHING OFF OF THE TABLE BEFORE THERE IS EVEN ANY REQUESTS FOR SUCH AN ACTION USUALLY MEANS THAT PERSON HAS BEEN GOTTEN TO, EITHER OUT OF FEAR FROM BLACKMAIL OR THAT PERSON WILL ULTIMATELY BENEFIT FINANCIALLY OUT OF GREED. Either way NO ONE SHOULD HOLD THE POST OF SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OR SENATE MAJORITY LEADER, HIDING BEHIND COWARDESS, OR GREED.
I want my country back so let me explain how WE THE PEOPLE CANN ACHIEVE THIS IN SIX MONTHS. It is really simple, there is a spot on all presidential election ballots called THE WRITE-IN CANDIDATE. All WE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO DO IS PICK THE CORRECT CANDIDATE, AND TOTALLY INUNDATE THE ENTIRE COUNTRY'S DIFFERENT FORMS OF MEDIA for the next six months. As a registered Independent my whole voting life I personnally would choose Dennis Kuchinich for President and RON PAUL AS THE VICE PRESIDENT. The only problem with my plan would be to convince both Mr. Kuchinich and Mr. Paul to drop there affiliations with their respective parties. Actually truth be known WE THE PEOPLE DON'T EVEN HAVE TO CONTACT EITHER MAN because I believe that if WE THE PEOPLE did win with the write-in option neither man would refuse, especially once both men were convinced that this was done for the ultimate health of our GREAT NATION.

I personally found it annoying to say the least when an announcer on public radio asserted the outcome with confidence "with 13% of the votes counted." I know they are using those Diebold machines but it would at least seem more legitimate if they waited until a majority of the votes were plausibly counted. Heck, they might as well announce the "winner" prior to the vote and save everyone the hassle,

In response to charliel, I do indeed find your comment disgustingly elitist. I hope that other readers and contributors to this blog share my reaction to the idea that some are "not well-educated enough to be allowed to vote." There is much that is anti-democratic about this country, but thankfully no such requirement when it comes to voting.

I've seen housekeepers in my union, who would surely not be considered "well-educated", shut down management lawyers with Ivy League educations. It's beautiful moments like that which strengthen my faith in the struggle, the working class, and democracy.
