This 2007 Paul Haggis film starring Tommy Lee Jones, Charlize Theron and Susan Sarandon with the amazing backup of actors playing the US soldiers sent to fight in Iraq. The selection of these soldier actors is the backbone of academy award level performances by the main actors.
The film�s screenplay was pieced together from actual stories that document the US war on Iraq.
This film will, I predict, become the defining film of the Iraq war in much same way at the film, �All Quiet on the Western Front� with Lew Ayers was for World War I and the �Deer Hunter� with the frightening scene of Chrisopher Walken engaging in Russian roulette.
This fill may not last long at main film screens, so be sure to see it when you can.
