I think Joelle does an excellent job of outlining the key differences between McCain and Obama on major issues that impact working families (here and abroad) at a very basic and substantive level. There is no doubt these differences are huge and require the maximum effort to defeat McCain on November 4th and to set the stage for winning real reforms that can strengthen the hand of working families for the future.

I agree wholeheartedly. By the way, I recently showed the excellent documentary Why We Fight Again, where McCain makes his criticisms of the military industrial complex and even at one point uses the word imperialism The students broke out laughing whenever McCain said anything, although the documentary is of course very serious. It might be a good idea to take McCain's statements there and counterpose them to what he has been saying today
