Jena Six and the Struggle for Equal Justice Under the Law
It was one of the most awesome demonstrations I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many. Partly because it was so huge and in such a small town. I would estimate there were around 50,000 people there.
I agree with Justive and being equal, I just wonder if the races in this case weere reversed, what would everyone have said??? If it were 1 black student that had been beaten, wou the six white students have been charged under ther Federal Hate Crimes act???? When are we going to realize that we are all AMERICANS, forget color and race, stop making differences, or using what fits with 1 side.
