Georgia Goes to Obama

As the polls closed at 7 pm eastern, CNN projects Georgia to go to Obama. So far the night is starting off on the right foot for him. But this projection is based on exit polling data.

CNN's exit polling data also has John "100-year war" McCain with a slight edge in Georgia over Romney and Mike "the 2nd amendment is more important than the economy" Huckabee.

Georgia is the 10th largest state in the country with over 5 million registered voters, 15 electoral votes, and a growing population. It rivals Michigan in size and importance.
