Oscars: Tommy Lee Jones in Valley of Elah

Tommy Lee Jones got a Academy Nomination, not for In the Country of Old Men, where he was very good; he received the nomination for In The Valley of Elah, where he was amazing. This, as reported before, is a powerful anti-war film that everyone should see. Its shelf life, unfortunately, was very short. Maybe winning the award will get more viewers.

Sicko was nominated for Best Documentary. Well deserved; as was Kate Blanchette in the Dylan film and the amazing performance of Marion Cotillard in La Vie en Rose. Ruby Dee's nomination for best supporting actor in American Gangster is well deserved.
