Bush Calls for Long-Term Occupation of Iraq

The debate over the Iraq war is heating up again. This past week, General David Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker delivered what most observers described as unsatisfying and even "dodgy," to quote one military instructor at the Naval War College, reports to Congress on the situation in Iraq.

    The US is in Iraq for about a generation or more. Victory is no longer an option just a success is all the US is looking for. But what is the success? That is to be determined by the Admin--it may have nothing to do with the sectarian violence or homelessness or...........But you can bet your scrawny ass that it will have everything to do with OIL.
