Evidence that Bush Doesn't Live in the Same World as You and I

In response to the congressional spending supplemental that includes a timeline for ending US military involvement in Iraq, President Bush insisted that such a plan for ending the war would turn Iraq into a "cauldron of chaos." (qtd in Forbes)

So Bush must truly believe that Iraq is pretty calm now: 104 U.S. troop deaths and more than 1,600 Iraqi deaths from car bombings, gunfire, assassinations, suicide bombers, riots, etc.

Not to mention failed reconstruction projects in the tens of billions of dollars.

Bush must be from a rough neighborhood.

Ironically, Bush plans to veto the spending package on or about the 4th anniversary of his declaration of "mission accomplished" in Iraq. Four years of victory.
