I hate to be so contrarian, but for what it's worth, the war in Iraq started in May 2002 with a US/UK bombing campaign that wasn't reported on much.
ReplyDeleteThe invasion proper may not have begun until March 2003, but by no means does this mark the start of the war. Iraqis know this, and we should as well.
